QUT ARCAAThe new Australian Research Centre for Aerospace Automation (ARCAA) at the Da Vinci Precinct of Brisbane Airport houses research staff, technical support and administrative staff. This is a new purpose built facility and is operated as a joint venture between QUT, CSIRO and the QLD Government. The facility comprises of a large aerospace workshop with a number of technical laboratories where special equipment is located. The facility also has enclosed offices, open plan office spaces and user specific meeting rooms. Green initiatives were also incorporated into the design. This project has recently won the Australian Institute of Building - professional excellence award. |
